Find out if you have a good case
Although fault for some accidents is fairly clear to those involved, many accidents that result in injury often are far more complex. If you or a loved one have been injured in an accident in East Orange, you may not initially be aware of what or who exactly caused your accident and injuries. Even if you believe you know what or who was responsible for your injuries, you will still need persuasive evidence to prove liability in a legal claim. Building a strong, persuasive legal argument is critical to securing the compensation you need and deserve for the injuries you suffered in your accident. An experienced personal injury attorney can put together an effective legal claim on your behalf and fight to get you the compensation you deserve.

Orange is a township located in Essex County, New Jersey. Incorporated in 1806 from portions of Newark, Orange was an industrial city for much of its early history, with tanning and boot- and shoemaking factories. Orange was also at one time the hatmaking capital of the U.S., with as many as 21 companies located in Orange around the turn of the 20th century. Into the 20th century, Orange’s industry shifted into beer brewing and manufacturing of office supplies and adding machines. Often referred to as “the Oranges”, it is common to group Orange, NJ with neighboring East Orange, South Orange, and West Orange.
Calculating the value of a personal injury claim is a difficult process that involves several different factors, most importantly the severity of your injuries. The more serious your injuries were, the more medical treatment you were likely to require; you also likely suffered more pain and distress as a result of your injuries. When negotiating a settlement of your personal injury claim, other factors can affect the amount of your recovery, such as whether you share any fault for causing your accident, as well as each party’s costs if the case goes to court and the likelihood that you prevail at trial and the likely judgment you would receive if you win.
Although you are not required to hire an attorney to file a personal injury claim with the insurance companies or to file a personal injury lawsuit in court, having an attorney to represent your rights and interests can be critical in many cases. Injured accident victims typically receive a greater financial recovery when represented by an attorney than if they tried to pursue their case on their own. Hiring an attorney can also prove critical if the facts of your case are especially complex or when the other side contests its liability or the amount of damages you are claiming.
