Find out if you have a good case
Some accidents may have easily-explained causes, such as a rear-end accident or a dog bite accident. However, determining legal liability for many other accidents is often a factually and legally complex endeavor. It can be difficult even for the injured victims of an accident to know who or what caused the accident. Even if an injured victim believes he or she knows who or what was at fault for an accident, hard evidence is still needed to prove responsibility for an accident and liability for compensated the injured victims of that accident for their damages. If you or a loved one are seeking financial compensation following an accident you believe was caused by someone else’s negligence, recklessness, or other legal fault, having a case built on strong evidence and legal argument is critical to successfully securing that compensation.

Montclair is a township located in Essex County, New Jersey. Montclair was formed in 1868 to encourage the building of a railroad line. Montclair derives its name from the French phrase “mont clair”, or “clear/bright mountain”, in reference to its location on the Watchung Mountains. Its population is approximately 37,700. In its higher elevations, the town offers both excellent views of the surrounding NJ areas as well as the New York City skyline. Montclair is also a culturally significant town in NJ, hosting many art venues as well as a minor league baseball team. It has its own art Museum, ‘The Montclair Art Museum’ and live theatres including ‘The Montclair Operetta Company’, ‘The Wellmont Theatre’, Montclair State University’s ‘Kasser Theater’ and ‘The Studio Playhouse’. Montclair is bordered to the west by Cedar Grove and Verona, and to the east by Clifton and Bloomfield. Upper Montclair is part of Montclair Township.
Possibly. If you are injured on the job, New Jersey’s workers’ compensation laws do not (with limited exception) allow you to file a personal injury lawsuit against your employer; instead, your only avenue of relief against your employer is to file a workers’ compensation claim. However, if you were injured on the job due to a third party’s negligence or legal fault, such as if you were injured in a motor vehicle accident on the job caused by another driver, or if you were hurt by defective equipment or machinery in the workplace, then you may also be entitled to file a personal injury claim against that third-party responsible for your injuries. Our personal injury attorneys can review your case and help you understand what legal options are available to you to seek financial compensation for your injuries.
Immediately after an accident, you may not feel pain or other symptoms of injury; often this is due to the adrenaline rush that an accident can produce in people that can dampen sensations of pain. However, in the days and weeks following an accident, you may begin to experience serious pain from injuries you suffered in your accident. This is why it is critical to get examined by a doctor as soon as possible after a serious accident to determine whether you may have suffered any injuries. Promptly diagnosing your injuries not only allows you to get better treatment but also strengthens your claim that those injuries were caused by the accident, especially if the insurance company tries to argue that you had pre-existing injuries or that your injuries occurred after the accident.
